Balance isn’t neutral. It’s chosen.

A ritual for reclaiming equilibrium without shrinking yourself.

The Libra Full Moon earlier this week didn’t ask for balance. It demanded honesty about what balance actually requires.

Libra energy isn’t “be polite.”
It’s “be in right relationship.”
With yourself. With others. With the world you’re trying to survive in.

This week is about pulling your energy back from the places where you’ve been over-giving, over-correcting, or over-functioning just to keep the peace.

Let’s rebalance the scales in your direction.

✨ SPELL

  • Even when the moon isn’t new or full, we don’t have to wait for a “special” sky to practice reclaiming ourselves.

Ritual isn’t about the calendar—it’s about interrupting the grind, reorienting to what matters, and reminding yourself you’re not just here to produce.

Here’s a ritual for this week, aligned with the current zodiacal season. Minimal supplies. Maximum reclamation.

Air for Right Relationship

(a ritual for restoring what’s yours to hold)

Supplies:

  • A feather, leaf, or scrap of paper

  • One breath

Steps:

  1. Hold your object in your hand.

  2. Think of one place where you’ve been carrying more than your share.

  3. Blow gently across the object and say:
What isn’t mine returns to its rightful home.

  4. Place the object somewhere visible for the next week.

Balance doesn’t mean equal effort.
It means proportional truth.

This week, instead of a hex, I offer you a reminder.

We've been hexing systems of oppression for months now. With good reason. And we'll get back to it.

But this week I'm sick. I don't have the capacity for a pithy hexation, and I'm not going to perform one for you.

What I have instead is this:

Rest is not optional. Not because it makes you more effective, more present, or more useful to the people and causes you care about. But because you are a person, and persons require rest. Full stop.

Not all rest is resistance. And if you haven't read Tricia Hersey's Rest Is Resistance, please do before you put that phrase on a tote bag.

And yes, I know that taking time off when you're sick is a privilege under this late-stage capitalist hellscape. That's a real thing and I'm not going to gloss over it.

What I will say is this: you deserve care at the most basic level because you are alive and you matter. Not because of what you produce. Not because of what you give. Not because of who needs you.

Because you are here.

That's enough.

Rest when you can. Tend yourself like you matter. Because you do.

In right relationship with your own center,
Keli Lyn

PS: If this Full Moon cracked open the places where you’ve abandoned yourself to accommodate others, Project Reclamation is where we rebuild your agency, your body boundaries, and your capacity to take up space again. The door is open.
