Lay the foundation before you build the year.
A new moon ritual for grounded beginnings.
✨ SPELL
This ritual isn’t about belief. It’s about repair.
Capitalism has broken your relationship to time—flattened your rhythms, punished your rest, and convinced you every moment must be productive.
The moon disagrees.
Each new and full moon, I’ll hand you a small ritual. Not to “manifest” or optimize, but to reattune your body to a different pace. One that honors cycles, not calendars.
Pay attention to the moon. It’s not aesthetic—it’s antidote.
Earth for Foundations
Supplies:
Something heavy (a book, a rock, a mug)
Paper + pen
Steps:
Write three things you want as the foundation of 2026. (Not goals. Foundations.)
Place the heavy object on top of the paper.
Say: What I build will stand because I build it gently.
Leave the object there overnight.
This is how real change happens: Slow. Solid. Yours.
✊ HEX
You don’t need a rundown of the headlines. You’re living them. Whether you’re in the U.S. or just suffering under its ripple effects, the harm is real—and relentless.
This isn’t catharsis. It’s counter-spell.
Each HEX is a ritual of refusal—a channel for holy rage, spiritual disruption, and deliberate, directed dissent.
Here’s who we’re targeting. And what to do about it.
Against Authoritarianism, Everywhere
This week, we hex authoritarianism in all its forms.
Not just the loud versions.
Not just the ones we’re “supposed” to name.
We hex it in Iran, where control is enforced through surveillance, punishment, and fear.
We hex it in Minnesota, where state power decides whose lives are expendable and whose families are negotiable.
We hex it wherever force replaces consent, obedience replaces care, and domination is sold as order.
Authoritarianism thrives on disorientation.
On panic.
On people being too exhausted, too disconnected from themselves, too afraid to trust their own knowing.
So this hex is not about rage alone.
It’s about refusal.
We refuse the lie that we must harden to survive.
We refuse the idea that chaos means collapse.
We refuse the demand to become reactive instead of rooted.
We hex systems that want us scattered, numb, or scrambling.
We hex power that depends on us forgetting who we are.
And we bless something quieter and more dangerous to them:
People who are grounded.
People who know their values in their bones.
People who can pause, orient, and choose, even in the middle of upheaval.
Because when the shift comes (and it will) what rebuilds the world won’t be panic or perfection.
It will be people who stayed connected to their truth long enough to create something worth living inside.
(If you’re feeling the pull to steady yourself, not to opt out, but to stay available for what’s next, that’s exactly what we’ll be doing in the workshop this weekend. No hype. Just grounding, clarity, and orientation.)
With steadiness and sovereignty,
Keli Lyn Jewel
PS: The Aligned Year Blueprint is this Sunday.
If you want a 90-minute container to get grounded, centered, and clear, this is the moment.
