Gratitude that doesn’t ignore the fire.

This week’s ritual widens your horizon and prepares your voice for the full moon rising.

✨ SPELL

  • This ritual isn’t about belief. It’s about repair.

Capitalism has broken your relationship to time—flattened your rhythms, punished your rest, and convinced you every moment must be productive.

    The moon disagrees.

Each new and full moon, I’ll hand you a small ritual. Not to “manifest” or optimize, but to reattune your body to a different pace. One that honors cycles, not calendars.

Pay attention to the moon. It’s not aesthetic—it’s antidote.

Fire for Expansive Gratitude

This isn’t the gratitude you were taught in childhood. You know the kind. The false gratitude that asks you to shrink, smile, and pretend it’s all fine.

This is the kind of gratitude that expands you.
The kind rooted in truth, direction, and agency.
The kind that burns away obligation and leaves only what’s real.

Supplies:

  • A candle or a small flame

  • Paper + pen

Steps:

  1. Light your candle. Sit where your chest feels open – upright, uncaged.

  2. Write three things you’re grateful for that cost you nothing and proved everything:
    community
    clarity
    courage
    (Or whatever rises for you.)

  3. Then write one thing you’re grateful to yourself for:
    a choice
    a boundary
    a truth you didn’t betray.

  4. Read them aloud and say:
May my gratitude widen what’s possible,
    not shrink what I desire.

  5. Let the candle burn for a moment while you imagine the horizon widening, your voice preparing to meet the full moon coming.

Because the full moon in Gemini is on its way, and your voice deserves room.
This ritual sets the ground. Not for politeness, but for truth-telling.

✊ HEX

  • You don’t need a rundown of the headlines. You’re living them. Whether you’re in the U.S. or just suffering under its ripple effects, the harm is real—and relentless.

    This isn’t catharsis. It’s counter-spell.

Each HEX is a ritual of refusal—a channel for holy rage, spiritual disruption, and deliberate, directed dissent.

Here’s who we’re targeting. And what to do about it.

Colonialism (Past, Present, Ongoing)

This week’s HEX is for colonialism. Not as a historical event, but as an active, ongoing architecture still shaping land, law, borders, medicine, money, and memory.

We hex the stories that rewrite genocide as generosity.
We hex the systems that disguise domination as discovery.
We hex the myth that gratitude and grief can’t coexist.

And we call forward the truth:
Resistance has ancestors.
Liberation has lineage.
And every step toward justice is a continuation, not a beginning.

Your action:
Speak aloud:
I honor the land beneath me.
I reject the stories that erase its past.
I refuse to participate in forgetting.

Then choose one act of remembrance or repair:

  • Support Indigenous creators, organizers, or landback work

  • Share a resource that tells the truth, not the myth

  • Light a candle in acknowledgement, not celebration

Let this week be gratitude without gaslighting.
Grief without guilt.
Truth without apology.

🔥 If this blog lit something up in you—rage, grief, desire—you’re not alone. You’re just early.

Project Reclamation is where we take that fire and build something with it.
A coaching community for the politically fed up and spiritually alive.
Not where you fix yourself—where you reclaim yourself.

Because healing is easier when you’re not doing it inside the systems that broke you.
And because joy isn’t a luxury—it’s a threat to the status quo.

PS: The full moon in Gemini next week is all about voice, clarity, and choice.
This is the week to make space for the truth you’re preparing to speak.
