Capitalism has broken your relationship to time—flattened your rhythms, punished your rest, and convinced you every moment must be productive.
The moon disagrees.
Each new and full moon, I’ll hand you a small ritual. Not to “manifest” or optimize, but to reattune your body to a different pace. One that honors cycles, not calendars.
Pay attention to the moon. It’s not aesthetic—it’s antidote.
Water for Depth and Renewal
Scorpio doesn’t ask politely. It asks you to dive.
To trust what’s beneath the surface.
To stop confusing heaviness with truth.
This week’s ritual prepares you for next week’s new moon, when Scorpio hands you both the scalpel and the salve.
Supplies:
A glass or bowl of water
Paper + pen
Steps:
Sit somewhere quiet. Take a few deep breaths.
Write one story you’ve been carrying – something about who you are, what you deserve, or what you fear might always be true.
Read it out loud to the water. Let it hear your honesty.
Then say:
This story has served me.
But I’m ready to write a truer one.Submerge the paper (if safe) or simply dip your fingers in the water and imagine that story dissolving, molecule by molecule.
You’re not erasing what’s real.
You’re washing off what’s expired.
Let the water sit overnight. Pour it out in the morning.

You don’t need a rundown of the headlines. You’re living them. Whether you’re in the U.S. or just suffering under its ripple effects, the harm is real—and relentless.
This isn’t catharsis. It’s counter-spell.
Each HEX is a ritual of refusal—a channel for holy rage, spiritual disruption, and deliberate, directed dissent.

Celebration as Resistance
This week, the Supreme Court refused to hear the case that would’ve reopened the fight against marriage equality.
They didn’t take it up.
And while that silence isn’t the victory we deserve, it’s still a no to regression.
So this week’s HEX isn’t about rage. It’s about gratitude as an act of power.
We hex the bigots who keep trying to legislate love.
We hex the systems that treat our relationships as debate topics.
But we bless the refusal — the institutional, deliberate no to hate.
Your action:
Light a candle (any color you’d use for love or protection) and say:
We protect our joy.
We defend our right to love.
We honor every “no” that holds the line.
Then, celebrate. Text someone you love. Tip a queer creator. Donate to an LGBTQ+ legal fund. Make joy look public and permanent.
Because protection is a spell, too.
